my summer vacation

consisted of 2 surprises that were pulled off very well, if I do say so myself. Laurel and Ethan showed up to surprise everybody on Thursday afternoon, and it was beautimous. Jon's play, Please Give Generously was phenominal and both him and Beth did an amazing job. We (we being Sara, Beth, Paul, Kara, Jon, Laurel, Ethan, and myself) had such fun camping afterwards too, even if one tent did look like this in the morning:

Apparently poles sized for a 2-person tent arn't as effective when used in a 6-person tent, but Kara still fit, it helps because she's travel size.
Another fun discovery:
DIGESTIVE CRAP BISQUITS!

Yes my american friends, that cookie does say "digestive" in bold letters on the front of it...apparently this is normal for our Canadian bretheran, but myself and Ethan and Laurel found it more than slightly amusing.
Friday we had to say goodbye as Beth, Paul, Kara, and I left for Hamilton. However we did have grand adventures with Ann Renee and a broken futon that evening.
whoops, sorry Terpstra's.
they're still happy people though...I have proof:

This would be myself, Beth, Paul, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (the small furry things crawling on our hands) and the broken futon in the back.
Saturday morning we inconspicuously watched Leah and Aaron's house...well Paul did anyway:

and when their car was gone we headed over and set up a breakfast for Leah and her future offspring. She was happy and surprised:

she would be the pregnant one on the right.
All in all it was a superbly fun, full of fullfilling fellowship, completely worth-the-money, 4 days:

...and I got back in the states despite the fact that I almost brought a peppermint liquid on the plane. *gasp* Yes friends, I almost blew up the plane with tea. They just made me chug it in front of them and then they let me on ....but have you ever tried chugging hot tea?? Let's just say I looked forward to the part of the plane ride where they give you a beverage that's mostly ice.

and now....I TAKE A SOCIAL WORK LICENSURE TEST TOMORROW!!! EEEP!
pray for me.
