I LIVE IN MINNESOTA!
how crazy is that?!
thus far, I've decided I like it, for other than the obvious reasons. I think it helps that it's summer right now too.
Minor hiccups: the roads are ridiculous, I don't have air conditioning, and I don't have the internet at my place yet (I'm at Jeremy's), and I don't have a job yet.
Other than that, my place is freaking amazing, albeit stylistically challenged (I think it covers about 3 distinct decades in wallpaper and the sink and stove are turquoise...). It's a stinking house! With real carpet and everything! A living room and a faVily room complete with 2 fireplaces! Very exciting.
Tomorrow, I intend on going to get a job in a store of some kind...there have got to be thousands of stores within a 5 mile radius of where I live, it's consumer ludicrousness, but one of them will probably give me a fabulous temporary retail job.
I have an interview tomorrow! It's to be an assistant manager at a card store. I think I'd like to do it, at least until I'm a liscensed social worker in the grand state of MN. Who knows what'll happen, but hey, whatever happens, it's a good thing God's in charge and not me, right?
I have a few other leads that I'm looking into right now...I'll let you know about how things develop...including Karissa's dance moves. I enjoy rooming with her, a great deal. HUZZAH!
Hopefully I'll get the internet soon....but I don't know when...until then, it's updates from Jeremy's house!
